Located in Wellfleet, the Atlantic White Cedar Swamp
Trail is one of my all-time favorite hikes in New England.
At just 1.2 miles, this hike is short and sweet, taking you
past white cedar trees that look incredibly mysterious
and unlike anything I’ve seen in the northeast. As you
walk along the boardwalk, soak in the scenic woods and
swampland that surround you. This hike is especially
picturesque during Cape Cod’s fall foliage season,
which typically extends from late September through
